The former naphtha storage tank at Lisbon's Museu da Eletricidade — the EDP water tower, or Depósito de Água — carries a panoramic composition Vhils developed in 2014 for Dissection, his first major institutional exhibition. Wrapped around the tank's cylindrical surface, the work reworks the nineteenth-century panorama format through portraiture, replacing its original spectacle with the faces of ordinary people. The carving activates the building's industrial history, continuing Vhils' exploration of architecture as a repository of collective experience.
