Lasco Project #3 was the third edition of a group exhibition staged in the subterranean passages of the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, curated by Hugo Vitrani and inaugurated in June 2014. This edition marked the project's internationalisation, bringing together urban artists including Vhils, Futura 2000, Cleon Peterson, Cokney, Horfé, Ken Sortais, Evol, Mode 2, and Lek & Sowat to intervene directly in the building's underground spaces. For his contribution, Vhils carved an anonymous portrait into the interior surfaces, extending his "Scratching the Surface" method of creation through removal. The intervention examined the political weight of walls and the tension of bringing street practices into an institutional setting.
