Vhils carved a wall on a Wynwood Walls façade in Miami in 2018, as part of the exhibition Ethereal, which opened at GGA Gallery on 29 November 2018 with 24 works. Wynwood grew from a garment and warehouse district shaped by Puerto Rican, Cuban, Haitian, Colombian and Dominican families before outsourcing emptied its industrial fabric. The carving exposes that immigrant working-class layer beneath the neighborhood's current art-tourism identity.
