At The Mills, Hong Kong — the former Nan Fung textile mills reimagined as a centre for culture and innovation — Vhils works with the material traces of the building's manufacturing past. The intervention acknowledges the generations of textile workers whose labour shaped the complex, treating the architecture as a repository of social history. Its new cultural uses stay tied to the lives once embedded within the site.
