Costah, Porto's programme for contemporary mural art, commissioned this 2016 bas-relief on Rua da Restauração. Vhils carved the portrait in styrofoam and set it against neon, mounting the piece onto the façade of an existing building so the image reads through the wall's own accumulated surface layers.
