Diorama, Alexandre Farto's second solo exhibition at Vera Cortês Art Agency (Av. 24 de Julho 54-1ºE, Lisbon), opened Friday 1 June 2012 at 10pm and ran 2 June – 8 September 2012, with a summer closure from 28 July to 4 September. The show grouped five bodies of work — hot-wire-cut styrofoam reliefs (Diorama Series), laser-cut street posters in crystal epoxy (Mobocracy Series), carved street-poster agglomerates (Homogéneo Series), acid-etched and polished iron plates (Erode Series) and carved doors collected from the street (Lacerate Series) — completed by three works executed on the streets of Lisbon. The accompanying texts were written by David Barro and Miguel Moore.
