Rust Series

Large rectangular volumes clad in patchworks of acid-etched, rust-toned metal plates salvaged from urban signage, with fragments of Chinese characters, Latin lettering, and partial portraits surfacing across the seams. The corrosive etching process burns the imagery directly into the steel, turning oxidation and industrial debris into the medium of the portrait itself.
