Riverboat detonation staged for Dissection, Vhils's first institutional solo show, at Fundação EDP – Museu da Eletricidade, Lisbon (4 July – 5 October 2014). Explosive charges on the hull of an abandoned vessel strip its layered substrates in an instant, extending the carving method from wall to boat. The temporary works were dispersed after the show.
