Portrait of the American DJ and producer Steve Aoki, carved from an accumulated mass of advertising posters: the white top layer is cut and torn away so that the face emerges from the printed strata beneath, with fragments of imagery, pattern and lettering left legible around it. The work keeps the irregular torn silhouette of the poster mass, presented against a dark ground. Part of a 2022 group of poster-carved portraits of musicians that also includes Diplo, Dillon Francis and JR.
