Lovehate — Billboards work, 2015

Hand-cut through dense stacks of layered advertising posters, the words "LOVE" and "HATE" emerge as freestanding relief sculpture, their stratified edges exposing fragments of typography, faces, and colour from the accumulated billboard skins. Vhils excavates the letterforms from urban printed matter, presenting the city's discarded visual noise as an archaeological cross-section.
