Torres Vedras: Scratching the Surface, one of Vhils' early wall carvings, made in the Parque de Estacionamento Santiago — at the corner of Rua Serpa Pinto and Rua Dr Aleixo Ferreira — between late March and 10 April 2009. The original state was photographed by Leonor Viegas for the artist's own site. A later photograph from the Torres Vedras city council's public-art archive shows the portrait significantly weathered, with unrelated stencil figures added nearby.
