At 301 N Morgan Street, the Chicago chapter of Hennessy's Making the Invisible Visible campaign carved a portrait of a local cultural figure whose story reflects the communities sustaining the city's creative life. Vhils' subtractive process turned the building into a record of someone whose impact runs through Chicago's social fabric while often going unseen. The campaign spanned six cities — London, Johannesburg, Moscow, New York, Chicago and Ho Chi Minh City — each carrying a portrait of a locally significant musician.
