Painted across the floor of a roofless industrial warehouse in Matinha, this intervention was created for Festival Iminente's 2021 edition, organised by Vhils' Cultural Affairs Group, using a grid-based technique Vhils was developing at the time. Seen from above, a pair of eyes emerges through the deteriorating structure, transforming the building itself into part of the composition. Created after the isolation of the pandemic, it stands for the resilience and the new forms of artistic production, interaction and collective experience that allowed people to remain connected.
