Dissonance was an exhibition at Lazarides Gallery, presenting a luminous carved relief portrait that appears to float against a void-black gallery wall, its face emerging from densely layered, eroded white material that reads as both architectural fragment and human likeness. Restrained wall typography on the wall opposite the work addresses the friction between individual identity and the accumulated surfaces of the urban environment.
